My 23rd Birthday

I need to get a job but there's so many things I want to do this holiday. This long long holiday like learn sewing, do my mini project, write more blog posts and relax. But I still need to get a job so I'll need to go hunting for some tutor job or something. Freelance. I don't want to be in the office from 9-5.

I skipped my Spanish oral for an awesome time on my birthday and a happy boyfriend. Now it's my turn to make his birthday even better /kiasu. He did so much for me, he needs some pampering too!!!

Beyond what I expected

I was complaining my workload, how I will not enjoy my birthday this year because everyone is just so busy and I, myself, am busy too. Expect less and you really get more.

The day started (12am) with me doing my assignments, when wishes come pouring in. LOTS OF THEM. Beyond what I really expected. I'm still replying to the comments on facebook and messages. I woke up today at 9am all grumpy and tired but I already told my friend that we'll go for breakfast. So I got ready and went to meet him at McD.

The day before another senior, sweet sweet senior bought me lunch. *touched* Anyways, after breakfast *which my friend paid for - thankyouawesomefriend*, I walked to the library, relaxed a little then I walked to class. Got wishes all over which lasted the whole day. Got a blogpost dedicated to me by Maureen, great great friend.

Came back in the afternoon, with over 70+ messages on facebook. You people are insanely nice I tell you. Replied half and got ready to class again, had jamuan, then they started singing to me. Whole class, shy.com. My face got red la, you know I blushes like nobody's business one.

After that, went for class, then went dinner with Wei, Kar Sin, Ding Ding, Woon Ching and Yoke Puai and they got me baby cupcakes. Huey Chian got me bigger ones. Cupcakes overload. So I brought some over to Wern's place to chia them. Got a small prezzie from Dilah and my awesomest friend - Rou En. loved.com.

Happy. Contented. I think this is what birthday is all about. Surrounded with loved ones who really cares. I am beginning to love my uni friends. I love Emmoes and Bentengz also okay? I think my BIG BIG heart is enough to fit another bunch of awesome people in it. =) And guess what, today is just the beginning of my celebration. Things can only get better from here.

Thank you to all who wishes me, hugged me, chia-ed me, made me feel special and all. There's no words in the dictionary that I could use to express how grateful and thankful and blessed I am to know you all. I cannot list out everyone cause it's just too many of you but I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Come to think of it, I've never celebrated my birthday whole day like this. Back in secondary school, it's only half a day then I go home. Then last year, I was at home and we went for dinner at night to celebrate. This is my first time celebrating whole day with my coursemates and my CF friends. <3 First time.

As I grow older, I think my wishlist gets shorter. I'm not gonna say all those everyone be healthy and happy kinda thing cause that's not a birthday wishlist, that's an every day wish. =)

As for what I wish for myself,

1. To be more determine in losing weight and really do it.

2. To read more of His word and have a stable relationship with Him. To grow more in Him.

3. To be a less bad tempered, moody, grumpy person I am sometimes.

4. To grow up and mature.

5. To be more confident of myself and my capability *kalau ada*

=) Do not worry bout presents ok? I'll be just as happy if you remember to wish me.

The eldest sis's advance birthday

We went to Shenanigans (which means something crazy in Irish) for dinner. We all dressed up for this okay? It's a rule that everyone must dress up for another person's birthday. This started when it was my 21st birthday.

Food. The food was actually good. I think grandma loves the fish and chips which was done in the British style, something new. The chips are a bit too salty but it was okay. However, there's not much choices on the menu as they have not much customers at the diner area and have been reducing the selection from the menu.

Different people react differently to a good pint of Kilkenny. The eldest sister who was a pro did it with class and said that it's smooth. The second sister who is more controlled, although did not like alcohol could do it in style. The youngest one who FAILED to maintain her coolness and showed this kind of face. IT WAS BITTER AND I ONLY HAD A SIP CAUSE I DRANK MORE FOAM.

Back at home. The three sisters insisted to take more pictures before we take down our 'mask' like what Pao said. A normal happy one. Then Che say eh, all act cool.

I looked more angry than cool (cool factor 7), Che looked very 'sombong' (cool factor 9), Pao looked KESIAN (cool factor 0). T___T FAILED. She say looks like she kena bully then we stood up for her.

Anyway, after this picture, I was seen wearing the exact dress with my blue and green slippers running about. XD Followed mum to send her documents.
